Some Tools I love to use.:)

I thought it would be helpful to create a resource page that you can always come to help you if you're looking for what I use on my own website. I'll add to it as I learn more, but in the meantime I really hope it helps you.

For Writing

Scrivener: I know I've talked before about how much I love Scrivener, but it really can change your writing life. It's my #1 recommendation, especially for self-published authors. It's a great writing software, with a helpful drag and drop functionality so you can write your scenes out of order and switch things around later.

I really like Scrivener for another reason. It saves so much time and money for self-published authors in getting their work out into the world. All just for $55 USD. Try it here for Mac or Windows.

For Self-Publishing Your Books

Vellum software: I've started formatting my ebooks and paperback print books with Vellum. It's amazing and creates simply beautiful ebooks and paperback books!

I self-publish directly to Amazon, Kobo, Google Play Books and Kobo. I use Draft2Digital.com to distribute my books to Barnes & Noble(Nook) and Apple Books(ibooks) and other smaller digital retail stores. I use Amazon KDP Print to self-publish my books using print on demand but I also recommend BookVault and Ingram Spark for print and picture books.

Atticus Software: This software program was created by Dave Chesson from Kindlepreneur is really great. You can write your book as well as format it here. It works especially well if you are using a computer that uses Windows. This software is continually being upgraded. It's very simple to use and I highly recommend!
